Trump Admin Live updates: Trump welcomes Netanyahu to the White House

The White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt said they are “very close” from all the parties that agree on a comprehensive plan to end the war in Gaza. The comments occur when Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu will visit the White House on Monday, during which he and President Donald Trump are expected to discuss the proposed agreement.

“As you know, the president has been tirelessly working on this effort to bring this war to Gaza and put an end to this conflict in the Middle East. He wants to see all the released hostages,” Leavitt told journalists on Monday.

Leavitt said that the special envoy of the United States to the Middle East Steve Witkoff “sent a very detailed plan of 21 points to both parties” and that Trump “expects both parties to agree.”

“The president knows and believes that this is a plan as good as these parts will see, and that is why they are 21 points,” Leavitt said.
