The video taken by WPVI showed damage to at least one house near the destroyed house. The images also showed a car that had apparently been damaged in the explosion.

The neighbors living in blocks of the explosion reported that they were awake.

“It was huge, huge; it sounded as if a bomb was shot,” said neighbor Suzanne Pinto to WPVI.

Neighbor Jill Rauf told WPVV that she, her husband and her dog evacuated her home when listening to the explosion.

“I had never seen something like that before,” said Rauf, added that the house that exploded was wrapped in flames.
