At least one person is dead and two others have been injured in a small plane crash in a remote area of the Olympic National Park in Washington, authorities said.
The incident occurred on Tuesday night at approximately 6:50 pm, when the rangers of an accident were notified in the Quinault area of the Olympic National Park on a slope pronounced north of the path of Irely Lake, according to a statement from the National Parks Service.
“The Rangers immediately coordinated an answer with the Whidbey Island Search and Rescue Naval Air Station,” authorities said. “The three occupants of the plane, an Alce Murphy SR3500, were transported to a level 1 trauma center.”

The authorities said that two occupants were being treated for their wounds and that a person died due to the accident.
Officials have not yet publicly identified the people involved in the incident and have not given details about what could have caused it first.
The cause of the accident is unknown and is currently under investigation by the National Board of Transportation Security.
