At least three people died in an apparent “horrible incident” in a training center for the application of the Los Angeles Law, said Attorney General Pamela Bondi.
The victims, employees of the Los Angeles County Sheriff, seemed to handle explosives when there was an explosion, sources told ABC News. The installation, a special complex of the configuration office, also houses the pump squad.
“Our federal agents are on the scene and we are working to learn more,” Bondi wrote on social networks.

An incident was reported in the Special Complex of the Sheriff Control Office of the Los Angeles County in East Los Angeles on July 18, 2025.
