2 people found murdered at home during the social assistance check in Los Angeles: Police

Two people have been shot in a Los Angeles house during a welfare control, police said.

Police found the victims while responding to the house in Encino on Monday afternoon, according to the Los Angeles Police Department. Both had gunshot wounds, police said.

No arrests have been made, police said. Family members and names of the victims have not yet been released.

The Los Angeles Police Department is investigating the shooting as a double homicide.
